LEEK PREVENTION AND DETECTION

The best way to ensure the longevity of your green roof is to do a leak detection test before the green roof is installed. This prevents any pinhole damages in the waterproofing from becoming bigger problems later on. The type of water proofing you use often determines which kinds of tests are appropriate for your roof. Some tests such as Electric Field Vector Mapping can even be done years after a green roof is built. Proper testing before and after is often much cheaper than any warranty offered.

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR GREEN ROOF

As a standard part of our project services BOSQUES URBANOS offers 2 years of bi-monthly inspections and maintenance checks for all our projects complete with a project specific maintenance manual. The first two years of establishment are the most critical for green roofs. Regular checks ensure the success and longevity of these living systems. Depending on the nature of the project we also offer on call services.
